This year we joined the Global prayer movement of ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ which called us to pray between Ascension and Pentecost.
We celebrated this and launched our new prayer initiative, Pray 24, by holding a 24 hour prayer day from 31st May to 1st June at Moorland Park Methodist Church.
The event kicked off at 7.30pm on Wednesday 31st May with a Worship and Thanksgiving service followed by twenty four 60 minute prayer slots led by various churches and groups around or more reflective times of personal prayer aided by our prayer stations. We then concluded the event by joining Moorland Park for their regular Thursday evening Connect:ed contemporary worship service as a way of celebrating all that God has done over the past 24 hours.
We were thankful to all who joined us for as much or as little as they were able. We’re excited about what God is continuing to do through our times of prayer for our City, Nation and World!
Here’s a few photos from the event!
